International Photography Contest Open to Faculty, Staff, Students, Alumni

Remember those great photos you took on one of your previous trips abroad? Or the amazing images you hope to come back with after an upcoming visit overseas?

The Office of International Programs (OIP) wants to see your best shots. In conjunction with the Office of the Provost, OIP is sponsoring the 2014 International Photography Competition, which is open to members of the university community.

The contest is open to faculty and staff (including retirees), students and alumni. Up to three photographs per person may be entered. A 250-character description may accompany each photo. Photos must be the original work of the entrant and must have been taken outside the United States (photos can have been taken in any year). Only digital entries may be submitted. The deadline is March 31, 2014.

Photos may be submitted in the following:

• Landscapes and Scenes
• Lights and Shadows
• Local People/Local Customs
• Children of the World
• Monarch Spirit (this category open only to returned ODU study abroad students or those currently abroad).
