New Faculty Workshop Series

New Faculty Workshop 3: Assessment and Objectives: Do they Match?

Participants in this workshop will compare their course objectives to their course assessments to see if they are complementary.

Participants in this workshop will learn about the most diverse population of students (by age, race, gender, economic status, technical proficiency) ever gathered in a course.  You will learn about generational and other characteristics, and discuss the behaviors of your students with a representative of ODU’s Counseling Services.

This is the third session of a six-part workshop.  Attend any or all of the six sessions, designed specifically for new (or nearly new) faculty members, to help you inspire an innovative and engaging learning environment that will foster your students’ success.
