OCCS System Maintenance

 

 

 

 

OCCS System Maintenance will be conducted on Sunday, October 7, 2012.  Specific services that will be impacted include:

 

 Between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

 Access to the following services/systems will be briefly intermittent:

            Faculty/Staff Email including archived messages

            Faculty/Staff Blackberry email access

            Faculty/Staff Instant Messaging (Lync)

            Thin Client Computers

            Adobe Connect

            Perception

            my.odu.edu Portal

            SharePoint

           

Between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

High Performance Computing resources will be intermittent

 Wireless Network access will be intermittent

 

 Between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

 Access to the Virtual Computer Lab will be unavailable      

 Access to the LIONS environment will be intermittent

           

 Between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Faculty/Staff Email will be available but sending and receiving non-ODU mail may be intermittent. This includes sending/receiving to and from student addresses. All mail will be queued and sent once service is restored.  

 Access to the following services/systems will be unavailable:

            Banner

            Leo Online

            Touchnet

 

 Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

 Access to the following services/systems will be briefly intermittent:

            Rosetta Stone

            ArcGIS Application

            Resource 25 (Room Scheduling)        

 

The timelines given are estimates for the duration of the system outages and/or service disruptions.  Maintenance procedures will start promptly as indicated.  The actual duration of the outages and/or service disruptions may be less than posted but will not go past 12:00 noon on Sunday.
