Mission
The Office of Community Engagement develops events and outreach opportunities to fulfill the university's community outreach mission by promoting service, partnerships, and expertise that connect the university to our communities for mutual success and community betterment.
Vision
The Office of Community Engagement will create a culture and spirit of community and civic-mindedness by building on and promoting existing efforts and enhancing ODU's role in the Hampton Roads community through strategic outreach to community organizations and integration of academic excellence with community and civic organizations to strengthen social and economic development in Hampton Roads, the Commonwealth and beyond.
