- My research program encompasses facets of community ecology, theoretical ecology, conservation biology, and evolution. I use
a variety of scientific approaches to integrate applied, theoretical, and basic research. Methods of investigation include
field experiments, long-term demographic studies, and mathematical modeling in order to understand how species interact with
each other and their environment; all within a larger conservation biology framework.
