  • Dr. Maihafer recieved his BS in Physical Therapy at Upstate Medical Center, SUNY, Syracuse, NY. His MS in Education - Clinical and Classroom Teaching - was obtained at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. He received his PhD in Urban Studies from Old Dominion University. He is the past Chairman of the School of Physical Therapy and is currently serving as the Graduate Program Director of PhD in Health Services Research.

    1) Applications of virtual reality computer systems in the intervention methods for adult candidates who have neurological deficits. 2) Validity and relaiblity testing of common physical therapy examination/intervention approaches.
