Patrick Hester

  • Dr. Patrick T. Hester is an Assistant Professor of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering at Old Dominion University and a Principal Researcher with the National Centers for System of Systems Engineering. He received a Ph.D. in Risk and Reliability Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Webb Institute. As a faculty member and researcher, he has been the principal investigator for nearly $1.8M of research, and a co-principal investigator on nearly $80K worth of research. These research endeavors span the areas of multi-criteria decision analysis, enterprise performance measurement and management, and complex problem solving.
