  • He holds a M.S. in Engineering Management and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UNITEC, Venezuela. He has performed applied research for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Army Program Executive Office Soldier, The U.S. Army Core of Engineers, among others. He received the Meritorious Service Award from the American Society for Engineering Management for Editing a Special Issue in the Engineering Management Journal. In 2008, he obtained the Batten College of Engineering and Technology Excellence in Teaching Award, and was nominated to the Old Dominion University Doctoral Mentoring Award. He serves as an Associate Editor for the Engineering Management Journal and is the Faculty Advisor of both, the Student Chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers at Old Dominion University and the Engineering Management Honor Society at Old Dominion University.

  • Research Interests

    Dr. Landaeta's research goals are to generate, transfer, and apply multi-disciplinary knowledge that addresses current and future continuous improvement challenges in knowledge-intensive organizations. His research interests include Project Management, Knowledge Management and Organizational Learning, Crisis Management, Change Management, Technology and Innovation Management, Cooperative Learning, and the interconnection among these areas.
