All digital assets in CQ's digital asset manager (DAM) must have certain fields of metadata associated with them. You set some of these fields yourself within each file prior to submitting them via the asset upload forms.
Open your file in Photoshop and choose "File Info..." from the File menu. In the resulting dialog box, make sure the "Description" tab is selected. The following three fields translate from Photoshop to the CQ DAM:
|Photoshop Field||CQ Field|
When done, click OK and then save your file.
Using Windows Explorer
Browse to your image in Windows Explorer. Right-click your image and choose "Properties." In the Properties dialog box, select the "Details" tab. The following three fields translate from Windows File Properties to the CQ DAM:
|Windows File Properties Field||CQ Field|
When done, click OK.
Open your PDF in Adobe Acrobat (must be Acrobat and not Acrobat Reader) and choose "Properties" from the File menu. In the Properties dialog box, select the "Description" tab. The following three fields translate from Adobe Acrobat Properties to the CQ DAM:
|Adobe Acrobat Properties Field||CQ Field|
When done, click OK and save your document.
