Research Computing

Students are now provided with the opportunity to specialize in geographical information. This system provides geographically referenced material that will capture, store, update, manipulate, analyze and display all geographic data that is designed to give students the basic knowledge and analytical skills on this subject.

High Performance Computing

High Performance Computing is an advantage for the University to perform at an elite level. ITS supports high performance research and is always providing research activities with secure storage of research data to all students and faculty. The main focus of that support is to require computing and advanced networking as its core instrument for scientific research and teaching.

High stability, outstanding performance, and compatibility on the computer will ensure a students success in all their classes and assignments. These characteristics explain the UNIX/Lion system that is needed to access the general purpose and high performance resources that are supported by ITS.
