The Monarch Virtual Environment provides access to workstation that have the same configuration as those in the standard ITS computer labs as well as access to specialized labs.

This automated attendance system is used across campus, allowing students to check in and out of class. Attendance data is added to Canvas where faculty can integrate the data with their course.

The Course Collaboration Tool makes it easy to add all of your students to a collaboration group at one time, whether you choose to use Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Drive to share information and documents with your class.

Zoom

Zoom is a cloud-based web conferencing service available to ODU faculty, staff and students that allows users to host and participate in meetings over the Internet.

Office 365

Microsoft Office 365 is available at no cost to all members of the ODU community in order to improve communication and collaboration across campus. Download the latest version of Office, or collaborate with others using OneDrive or OneNote.

Google Workspace

Students and faculty have access to all Google tools in order to create and share documents, spreadsheets, calendar events and more with each other.

Securely transmit and receive large files large beyond the limits typically allowed by email systems.
