Rosetta Stone

Rosetta Stone is the world's leading language learning software. By incorporating sound, voice recognition, pictures, words, and animations, it creates an environment where the learner is immersed in a full-on experience - not learning through drills or memorization. Rosetta Stone is dynamic and fun! OIR is pleased to offer it free to ODU students! Register today by submitting the form below.

We currently offer Rosetta Stone on two private computers at the Intercultural Center in Webb Center. Once you submit the form, we will create an account for you, and will contact you when your account is ready. Because space is limited, we require that you call ahead, or visit the Intercultural Center to schedule a time to use a language module. Our phone number is (757) 683-4406 and our business hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. If you have questions about the Rosetta Stone program or the terms of use, please contact us!.

Please note: The Office of Intercultural Relations does not guarantee that individuals who use Rosetta Stone will become proficient in the language that they have chosen to study. Successful language acquisition depends on a number of factors including the amount of quality time spent by the student studying and practicing the particular language.

Our Rosetta Stone software cannot be installed on your personal computer, nor is it available for purchase from our office.
