She also toured Australia with Russian musicians Daniel Kramer and Alexander Fischer, playing sold-out shows across the country, followed by successful tours with American trumpeters Bobby Shew and Chuck Findley. "Nicki brings clear articulation, beautiful tone, a sense of rhythmic assuredness and a touch of allure to inventive arrangements." --Jazz Times "... at the risk of betraying a certain male penchant I can't help noting that Parrott is the other lady bassist singer around these days whose beauty matches her musicianship." -- Downbeat Magazine "...a rarity, a first-class bassist who?s playing is as sublime as her vocals." --Limelight // Tickets available at http://oduartstix.universitytickets.com // An endowment established at the Hampton Roads Community Foundation, made possible by a generous gift from Mr. and Mrs. F.
