ODU Grads Produce Video for Doritos ‘Crash the Super Bowl’ Contest

Two Old Dominion University graduates have produced a video for the national Doritos "Crash the Super Bowl" commercial contest, which will air the top entries during the 2013 Super Bowl, with the winner receiving a $1 million prize.

Donald "Chip" Johnson, a 2003 fine arts graduate with a concentration in photography, and Allison Zedd, a 2004 graduate in interdisciplinary studies, are part of the team that made "Chip on Your Shoulder."

The video is a cheeky play on words on the familiar saying. In the spot, a man is frustrated leaving the house in the morning, and his wife points out, "You have a chip on your shoulder," and then takes an actual Dorito off his shoulder and eats it.
