ODU Alumnus Ross Mugler Appointed to Board of Visitors
August 12, 2014
Ross Mugler has been appointed to serve on Old Dominion University's Board of Visitors, Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced Friday.
Mugler was previously appointed to the board in 2002 and elected Rector in 2008, a position he held for two years. He is currently the city of Hampton's Commissioner of the Revenue and president of the Virginia Commissioners of the Revenue Association.
Mugler earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from ODU in 1984 and a master's degree in public administration in 2003.
The special appointment was made to fill a vacancy that resulted from the recent death of Jodi Gidley, who had been appointed to a four-year term on the board in 2013.
