Description
TIPs for the University is designed to give students the skills necessary to intervene in situations where alcohol is being misused. Whether or not university students choose to drink alcohol themselves, they may find themselves in a situation in which people around them are consuming alcohol. TIPs for the university is designed to show students why, when and how to intervene with their peers to prevent alcohol-related problems. TIPs for the University was developed from ideas generated by university students. It addresses the setting in which drinking takes place, actions students can take to prevent alcohol-related problems and the attitudes of college students toward drinking.
