- The Old Dominion UniversitySpring Career Fair is held annually in March at the Ted Constant Convocation Center, and boasts 80 plus employers from a broad spectrum of industries such as healthcare, shipping, IT, non-profit and business. Employers are seeking students, parents and alumni to fill jobs locally, nationally and internationally. No matter what your major, there is an employer looking for candidates with your skill set. This event presents an opportunity for students, parents and alumni to seek employment, gain valuable experience in self-presentation and job search strategies, and network with recruiters. You will rarely find an opportunity to have this many employers from such a wide variety of industries in one room. All immediate family members of ODU students and alumni are invited to the fair
