Career & Major Exploration (UNIV 120)

Explore your individual interests and discover career resources that help you define your goals and develop strategies to achieve them. Self-assessment and individualized consultations get you on your path to success (1 credit hour).

LEAP Workplace Readiness (UNIV 195)

Engage in self-reflection and work place skill enhancement applicable to the Learn and Earn Advantage Program (LEAP) and the world of work. Develop self-presentation, work ethic, team membership, professional communication, independence and initiative, and see the "Big Picture" in relation to everyday workplace issues (1 credit hour, must have a LEAP Award to register).

Career Implementation (UNIV 200)

Gain an in-depth view of the career process, from internships and cooperative education through professional development and lifelong learning. Learn to navigate the job search process, practice interview skills, and evaluate a job offer in order to make a smooth transition from the classroom to the world of work (1 credit hour).

Career Engagement (UNIV 400)

If you're interested in getting an advantage as you search for your first professional position, this is the course for you! Instructors help facilitate the job search process and prepare you for a new job. Learn more about resumes, social media, networking, interviewing, and being successful in your new position (1 credit hour).
