- Be a part of the celebration to Kick-Off the 2013 Relay For Life of ODU! Every Relay season starts off with a special celebration that builds the momentum for another successful year. Attend the Kick-Off celebration for this year’s American Cancer Society Relay For Life of ODU and be a part of a family-friendly event that will help bring us closer to finding a cure for cancer. While the primary focus of any Relay For Life Kick-Off celebration is to raise awareness of the event, it is also a time when friends, family, co-workers, students, faculty, and staff can come together as a community. Celebrate an afternoon of fun, complete with games, food, refreshments, entertainment, and a program designed to explain Relay For Life and how you can become a part of this nationwide movement to find a cure.
