ODU Forecasting Team: Regional Economy Picked Up Steam in First Quarter of 2013
The Hampton Roads economy picked up steam in the first quarter of 2013, according to Old Dominion University's Economic Forecasting Team. After growing at only 0.4 percent in the fourth quarter of 2012, the local economy grew at a rate of 2.5 percent in the first quarter of this year, the team said in a report issued May 21. ( More )
