You can complete your MBA at ODU part-time in as little as 21 months. Classes are offered days, evenings, and weekends at our main campus in Norfolk, Virginia or anytime, anywhere online, and new cohorts enter every January and August. Our 40-credit hour program can be finished in 21, 36 or 48 months to meet the needs of working professionals with additional commitments.
Management Skill Development
Students have the opportunity to hone their management skills in areas of greatest interest and relevance by taking electives such as ethics, leadership, effective written communications, change management and creative thinking.
The MBA Association, consisting of both students and alumni, provides members with social and educational events every semester. The Economics Club of Hampton Roads, Propeller Club and Landmark Speaker Series offers opportunities to discuss issues with local, national and international business leaders. If you would like to obtain greater depth in a particular field, we offer graduate certificates and other complimenting degrees that you may combine with the MBA degree for a dual credential option. Certificates include Public Procurement and Contract Management, Modeling and Simulation, Maritime, Ports and Logistics Management and more. Degrees include Accounting, Economics, Engineering Management, Public Administration and many others. You may also opt to complete the MBA without a certificate or additional degree by selecting electives from multiple disciplines to design a program that meets your specific career needs.

The Dr. Bruce L. Rubin Endowed MBA Scholarship
The recipient will be a newly-admitted and enrolled part-time student in the MBA program at the College of Business and Public Administration, with an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.2, and a GMAT Total score of at least 600. Preference is given to a student who demonstrates volunteer service to the local business community. Candidates are selected during the admissions application process; so no additional application is required. A competitive admissions portfolio will serve as application for the scholarship.
