The colloquium is focused on addressing what constitutes public art in Hampton Roads and who gets to make such decisions. We will explore the cultural, economic, legal, social and spatial dimensions of public art. The colloquium features the perspectives of both scholars and practitioners.

Tom Chapman - Political Science & Geography Department at ODU
Elizabeth Cooke ’05 - Public Artist and ODU Alumna
Robert Wojtowicz - Associate Dean of the College of Arts & Letters at ODU
