Mac OS X Mavericks and iOS 7
Room 1311 @ 9:30am | Room 1310 2:30pm

With OS X Mavericks, the Mac experience gets even better. It brings new apps to your desktop, adds features you’ll love to use and introduces technologies that help your Mac perform even better while using even less power. iOS 7 introduces great new features like Control Center, AirDrop for iOS, and smarter multitasking. It also makes the things you do every day even easier, faster, and more enjoyable. And while many of the apps look different, the way you do things feels perfectly familiar.

iPad Apps to Create Digital Stories
Room 1310 @ 1:30pm

The Center for Learning and Teaching will acquaint you with apps which can be used to plan (instruction) and create digital stories on your iPad. (The Apps that will be presented follow Bloom's hierarchy of learning.) Digital stories are short, 3-to-5 minute videos which can be used as highly effective teaching and/or assessment tools. We will highlight examples of stories created during our faculty development workshops and an overview of apps which can be used to support Bloom's Taxonomy.
