“All classes will take place in our Visual Arts Studio building located off of North Shore Road, adjacent to the playground which can be seen from the road.”

Come join us and create artwork to better understand our connection to this precious place we call Earth!  Build large animal sculptures from found wood and objects, create a boat from earth materials found on nature walks in the beautiful gardens, create mythological creatures from clay or even turn trash into trees!

There are many amazing choices to learn from!  All lessons are developed and taught by ODU Art Education Students. You will discover how you can act to conserve our precious resources as we tour the unique and beautiful artwork and grounds of the Hermitage Museum and Gardens.

Participating students will also have an exhibition and reception at the Hermitage Museum Saturday December 7th 1-3:00!
