Peer Educator Program
The Peer Educator Program consists of trained peer tutors, mentors, and academic coaches who are committed to the success of ODU students.
Our services and resources are available free of charge to all undergraduate students at ODU.
The peer educators are knowledgeable and willing to help you with over 40 courses.
The tutors offer one-on-one tutoring, as well as group tutoring.
Course-specific tutoring is available for many academic subjects offered at ODU. This page details which courses are available for tutoring, along with the tutoring labs and locations.
The Peer Mentor Program is designed to help students achieve academic success by providing mentors to help them work through personal and academic challenges, improve study and social skills, and aid in setting realistic and tangible goals.
SI sessions are free, weekly peer-led review sessions for students in historically difficult courses. SI Leaders will take information from class lectures and the textbook to efficiently review concepts from the course through various strategies.
The Peer Educator Program for Veterans and Students Affiliated with the Military Program (S.A.M.) is designed to provide academic, professional, and transitional support to active-duty personnel, veterans, reservist, spouses, and dependents.
