Description: For Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Ally (LGBTQA) a student entering the work force presents some unique challenges. The questions of coming out in your career, on your resume or in your interview are common questions.   This introductory resource workshop is open to all students and can offer insight for LGBTQ students when entering the workforce, offer search strategies in finding welcoming companies and your legal protections.


OUT in Your Career: Criminal Justice Panel

Location: WEBB Center: Williamsburg Room 2nd Floor

Description: Come to this panel of diverse Norfolk Police Department Officers. The Officers will be on hand to give you a description of their road towards their current positions, ways you can prepare for a career in law enforcement and their experiences of being open with their identity in their career.
