Fall Housing Application Information

Housing & Residence Life is excited in your interest to live on-campus. Living on-campus can be one of the most memorable experiences during a college career. In order to better assist you in this process, please make sure to carefully read the information provided in the links below to have a better understanding before you apply.

First-Time Freshmen

A first-time freshmen student is an incoming student who does not currently attend Old Dominion University or any other university during the 2013-2014 academic year. (High school students with AP credits are considered first-time freshmen)


New Transfer Students

A New Transfer student is any incoming student to ODU who has never taken any courses at Old Dominion University and is transferring in existing credits from another institution of higher education.


Current On-Campus Residents

A current undergraduate student, who currently lives on-campus, attended Old Dominion University during the 2013-2014 academic year and will continue to be enrolled in an undergraduate program as a full-time student in 2014-2015.


Continuing ODU Students

A continuing ODU student, who currently lives off-campus, attended Old Dominion University during the 2013-2014 academic year and will continue to be enrolled in an undergraduate program as a full-time student in 2014-2015.
