>>> Old Dominion University Start-up Challenge <<<
The Old Dominion University Startup Challenge is designed to help foster an exciting and competitive entrepreneurship environment on campus. The Startup Challenge is open to all students at Old Dominion University. If you do not want to compete this year, come watch the competition as an attendee and prepare for competition in the future.
Competitors should register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1st-annual-odu-startup-challenge-tickets-11072515191 as a competitor and submit their written business plan to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, April 7th. Written plans should be no more than 5 pages. Competitors are also required to prepare a 5-8 minute presentation of their plan for the event on Friday, April 11.
The event on April 11th is free and open to the public but registration is required. Attendees should register at the link above by Wednesday, April 9th.
Judging is based on both the written plan and oral presentation. Prizes will be awarded to the top 4 plans. Prizes include monetary awards and follow-up mentoring.
This is the first in a series of competitions being developed as part of Old Dominion's Entrepreneurship Initiative. Students interested in learning more about the full initiative should contact Franck Tchouambou at email@example.com.
