Intercultural Relations Office

Please submit your application at least 7 days in advance of your event. Please give 24 hours notice upon canceling an event held in the Intercultural Center. Contact the OIR via email to cancel an event.

ThueAlthough the Intercultural Center (IC) is open to the ODU community, Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM and and Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM, the space can be secured by students or faculty for events by filling out this online form. The space is only available at these normal times. If the requestor needs extended time for an event, specific exceptions must be approved. The Intercultural Center has media that students or faculty may use, upon agreement to be held responsible for any damages incurred during the time of the event. Catering through Aramark is allowed in the Intercultural Center, as long as the sponsoring organization or person is responsible for cleanup. Alcohol is not permitted on the premises.

Responsibility Agreement

I agree to the policies in the space reservation request form. I understand that I am responsible for any equipment used, cleanup of any catering/food, along with returning the Intercultural Center to its original set up. Additionally, I understand that I will be held responsible for any damages to the Intercultural Center incurred in the facility at the time of the event. This event request is being submitted at least 7 days in advance. I will give 24 hours notice regarding the cancellation of my event.
