Tired of PowerPoint? Learn Prezi! Two-hour workshop Tuesday 10/1.
Online Presentations Using Prezi for your Courses
Engaging students is an integral part of the learning process. Whether your course is delivered face-to-face in the classroom or distance classroom or online, you can create online activities of all types to engage your students. This semester, learn about creating online presentations with Prezi.
The Prezi workshop allows you to gain hands-on experience using and navigating Prezi, a presentation software that is zoomable and customizable. In the first half of the workshop, we will, together, create one Prezi to give you a feel for the tools and interface. During the second half of the workshop, you can "Prezify" your own presentation - create one that day or bring one with you.
The Prezi workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 1 from 10am until noon, and again on Tuesday, November 12 from 1:30-3:30pm.
Where: The Center for Learning and Teaching’s Faculty Development Lab, Gornto 101 or via two-way audio/video at the Higher Education Centers.
