Constant Hall - 1002
The Office of Distance Learning is preparing for the sunset of the satellite and video streaming delivery technologies. In fall 2014, we will transition to the online 2-way web conferencing technology that will improve the quality of the learning environment for both faculty and students. Faculty members are invited to attend the Distance Learning Faculty Forum on Friday, February 28th from 3:00 to 5:00 in room 1002 of Constant Hall. The purpose of the Forum is to articulate the shift from satellite and video streaming technologies to the University’s online 2-way web conferencing solution. A demonstration of the new technology will be presented and the impact on how faculty teach at a distance and how students can access course content will be discussed. In addition, we will share information about upcoming CLT training events and one-on-one sessions with Academic Technology Service staff available upon request. If you are teaching, or have taught, using satellite and/or video streaming technologies, please join us for this faculty and staff orientation to the upcoming technology changes.
