FY YEAR END NOTICE - systems downtime reminder


The annual fiscal year-end closeout process will occur during the period of Friday, June 28 through Monday, July 1, 2013.  We appreciate your patience and cooperation since some disruption of normal administrative systems (Banner, Leo Online and TouchNet) is expected.  The process for closing the fiscal year is an ongoing and complex process which requires coordination with the State and University’s Financial Systems, and, therefore, it is necessary to bring these systems off-line for a period of time. 

The campus community can expect the following with regard to the availability of key administrative computing systems.

Friday, June 28, 2013 – the following systems will not be available after 11:30 AM.

               Leo Online



               Travel and Expense

Saturday, June 29, 2013 - Leo Online and Banner will be made available by 4:00 p.m. for course registrations and grade posting only.  No payments will be accepted in Banner or TouchNet and no financial transactions can be processed in the Banner Finance Module (including Travel and Expense) until Monday, July 1, 2013 at 8:00 a.m.

Please share this information with key staff members who use these administrative systems.  Closing one fiscal year and starting the new one is a critical and complex process.  We hope that by notifying you in advance about the unavailability of the administrative system, you can plan accordingly.
