Diehn Chorale presents "Let's Sing About our Dream"

The exceptional performers in the F. Ludwig Diehn Chorale present "1619 - 2019: Four Hundred Years, The Journey Through Music." Directed by Nancy Klein, the concert will feature a variety of music including African American Spirituals and Gospel songs, music of African American composers, African songs of freedom and songs of the Congo, Nigeria and Ghana. The Diehn Chorale will be joined by the I.C. Norcom High School Choral Department, directed by Joe. L. Harmon, to celebrate the rich heritage that has uniquely influenced our musical experience and expression for 400 years.

The concert, part of the yearlong 400th Anniversary of the First African Landing in North America will take place in the Chandler Recital Hall in the Diehn Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.
