TAU Upsilon Alpha Honor Society & Student Organizations

Our Mission:

"To honor academic excellence; to foster lifelong learning, leadership, and development; and to promote excellence in service to humanity."

About TUA:

Tau Upsilon Alpha is a national honor society for students, alumni, and faculty in the field of human services. Once you are a member, you are a member for life, so you can participate even after you graduate. TUA is an extension of the National Organization of Human Services (NOHS). The Old Dominion University chapter was formed in 2011 and is currently being advised by Dr. Radha Horton-Parker.

TUA membership is a distinction that demonstrates your dedication to learning and hopefully a lifelong commitment to our field. Being a member of an honor society is a distinction that can be added to your resume as well as open many doors to potential scholarship and academic opportunities. It is also another way for you to become more involved with our department. Review the TUA national website for more information.
