Dr. Rachel White was awarded a 2022 Faculty Innovator Grant by the ODU Center for Learning and Teaching. Her project is titled, 'Real-world, time-constrained simulations in education policy, politics, and legal situations.' Hers was one of nine proposals selected from across the university. Dr. White is an assistant professor in the K-12 Educational Leadership area whose work, in part, focuses on how school leaders come to understand and implement policy in ways that lead to the enactment of social justice for historically marginalized student populations.
