Lewis W. Webb, Jr.

Opened in May 1966, Webb University Center was named after the University's first president, Lewis W. Webb, who served the University from 1962 until 1969. We honor his memory by supporting his values of scholarship and community.

Webb Center is the community center for all members of the University family-students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni, and guests. It isn't just a building; it is also an organization and a program. The Center provides services, conveniences and amenities that members of the University family need in their daily lives on campus. It also provides a place for getting to know and understand one another outside the classroom.

I believe our Mission Statement says it all. Webb University Center's staff are dedicated to providing a friendly and attractive environment in which campus constituents can be brought together to build campus community. We provide services and maintain our facility in support of student learning and development. We strive to achieve perfection in Webb University Center supporting student activities and programs, meetings and special events.
