Faculty Members Chosen For Proposal Preparation Program
April 30, 2015
Six Old Dominion faculty members were recently selected for the 2015-16 Faculty Proposal Preparation Program directed by the Office of Research. The program helps faculty submit high-quality, competitive funding proposals by financially helping their college release them from one course of their teaching commitment during a semester.
For fall 2015, Michel Audette, modeling, simulation and visualization engineering; Michael Clemons, political science and geography; Alvin Holder, chemistry and biochemistry; and Wie Yusuf, public service were chosen for the program.
For spring 2016, Greta Pratt, art; and Eric Walters, biological sciences were selected.
Deans may nominate up to two tenure-track faculty members for each of the fall and spring semesters. Nominees should have a well-formulated, meritorious project already internally reviewed for which funding has yet to be sought or achieved.
