University Ranked in Top Ten for Serving Military Veterans

Old Dominion University is ranked the nation's 10th best college for military veterans by the higher-ed rating service Collegefactual.com.

The rankings were recently featured on USAToday.com. The service evaluated colleges and universities based on numerous factors including veteran-support services and programs, flexibility, affordability and the success of graduates.

Old Dominion was called "a good choice for veterans and active duty military as the school is affordable, yet offers a rigorous education. About 3,000 students in attendance at Old Dominion are recipients of the GI Bill, and it participates in three federal programs that set standards for veteran education."

The University's popular online degree program was cited as well by CollegeFactual.

Old Dominion's Military Connection Center helps veterans including active-duty service members, reservists, guardsmen and their families navigate the transition to academic life and offers comprehensive support throughout their academic career.
