UPDATE: Friday Football to Impact Hampton Blvd. Traffic Oct. 20

Old Dominion University's Monarch football team will play a Friday evening home game against Western Kentucky on Oct. 20, impacting traffic for those traveling to and from downtown Norfolk between 3:30 p.m. and the 6 p.m. kickoff.

Travelers should also expect heavy volumes of traffic on Hampton Boulevard from downtown Norfolk to Naval Station Norfolk. It is advised to use alternative routes instead of Hampton Boulevard. Please be extra cautious during commutes.

If attending the game (fans are encouraged to wear Black!), tailgate lots open at 3:30 p.m. and stadium gates open at 4:30 p.m. for the 6 p.m. kickoff. Early arrival is suggested. General public parking will be available on the campus of Old Dominion University in garages B, C and D.

• Parked vehicles with the proper ODAF parking credential displayed (for the tailgate space where parked) will not be required to move when the tailgate parking areas are cleared on Friday afternoon, 10/20/17.
• Vehicles with valid DMV-issued ADA placards or license plates may remain parked in designated ADA spaces on campus
