Flags Lowered to Honor Former Vice President Mondale

Pursuant to President Biden's Presidential Proclamation to lower the United States flag, Governor Ralph Northam ordered that the flags of the United States and Virginia are to be flown at half-staff over the state Capitol and throughout Virginia in respect and memory of Vice President Walter Frederick "Fritz" Mondale.

The flags shall be lowered until sunset on the day of interment.
