The ODU Library and Information Studies program is hiring for three positions to start June 10, 2022.

Two of the positions are Assistant/Associate Professor positions (Tenure Track), and the other position is for a Lecturer (Non-Tenure Track). Review begins November 1, 2021.

The ODU Master of Library and Information Studies is a new degree currently in initial candidacy for Accreditation with the American Library Association. Faculty are committed to growing a program with a national reputation for our commitment to leadership, social justice, and authentic practice. We currently offer students pathways in assessment and evaluation, school librarianship, youth services, and instructional librarianship preparing students for professional positions in libraries, archives, and other information spaces. We invite applicants interested in building upon the program's current strengths through contributions of innovative scholarship, curriculum, pedagogy, leadership and discovery.
