Garner Conducts Workshop at SIDI 2013: Visual Teaching
Dr. Joanna Garner, associate research professor with TCEP, presented, Rethinking the Design of Presentation Slides: An Evidenced Based Approach, at the Summer Instructional Development Institute (SIDI). The discussion was based on her research applying the Assertion-Evidence Model to lectures and multimedia learning.
SIDI is an annual multidisciplinary faculty development event sponsored by the Center for Instructional Development & Distance Education of the University of Pittsburgh.
