TEAMS Joint Winner of Partnership Award
The LTC (Ret.) H.G. "Pete" Taylor 2013 Outstanding Partnership of Excellence was awarded to Virginia Beach City Public Schools, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Naval Air Station Oceana, Old Dominion University, National Math and Science Institute, and Virginia Advanced Study Strategies. This annual award given by the Military Child Education Coalition encourages and applauds the outstanding partnerships that exist between military installations and school districts and brings special recognition to those partnerships that demonstrate the belief that good things happen at the local level.
