VP for Research Candidates to Give Presentations at Open Forums

Three candidates have been invited to campus to interview for the position of vice president for research.

The candidates are: Morris W. Foster, associate vice president for research, associate vice president for strategic planning and special assistant to the president, University of Oklahoma; Jay W. Fox, associate dean for research infrastructure, University of Virginia School of Medicine, and associate director for laboratory research, UVa Cancer Center; and Richard J. Mammone, associate vice president of innovations and partnerships, Rutgers University.

Each candidate is scheduled to give a presentation at an open forum for members of the university community. The forums are scheduled as follows:

  • Friday, Feb. 21 - Richard Mammone, 2-3 p.m., Room 1310/1311, Perry Library Learning Commons
  • Friday, Feb. 28 - Morris Foster, 2-3 p.m., Room 1306, Perry Library Learning Commons
  • TBA - Jay Fox, TBA
