Praise For ODU Online Computer Science Master's Degree

Computer Science Online has ranked Old Dominion University's online master's degree program in computer science in the top third of college programs based on affordability and quality.

ODU placed 13th out of 44 ranked programs. Rankings were formulated using data from the Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System and the Carnegie Foundation, among other sources.

Graduates of ODU's program possess a deep background in the development and management of business information systems as well as specialized knowledge in numerous areas:

systems analysis and design; database administration, information and knowledge management; IT project management; business intelligence; e-business/e-commerce; enterprise information systems; networking; and the effective use of information technology to increase productivity in business and industry.

Old Dominion's online bachelor's degree program in computer science in 2013 was ranked fourth-best out of 33 programs reviewed by the Open Education Database. The B.S. program also was ranked 13th in affordability by GetEducated.com, a leading consumer group that compiles comparative data on nearly 4,000 accredited online degrees.
