MFA Poet at Old Dominion Earns Prestigious Honor

Amanda M.G. Huynh, a student in Old Dominion University's Master's of Fine Arts program, has been honored with a 2016 Intro Journals Project Award from the Association of Writers and Writing Programs.

Huynh's poem "What Are You?" was one of eight poems chosen for the award and for publication. Her poem will be published in the Tahoma Literary Review, a journal based in the Pacific Northwest.

The Intro Journals Project is a competition that identifies and publishes the best new work by students who are enrolled in members of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs, such as Old Dominion.
