The development of an interactive exhibit within the Barry Art Museum fostered a researcher-practitioner partnership between the museum and The Center for Educational Partnerships (TCEP) at Old Dominion University.
This collaboration stemmed from a shared commitment to support formal and informal learning throughout the community. The developed Visitor Reflection Studio provides opportunities for visitors to reflect on and share their experiences and perceptions while learning about the collection.
This article, published in The Museum Review, outlines the design process for developing this studio and how this process allowed the partnership to grow.
