Dr. Felecia Commodore has been selected to moderate a Presidential Session at this year's Association for the Study of Higher Education Annual Conference. This honor demonstrates the regard that the national leaders of our discipline hold for her. The session, Understanding and Supporting Student Success in an Alternate Reality, will explore how we can support student success in the altered reality of pandemic times. This session (11/4 at 4pm) is on the conference virtual ticket, and as such can be attended both by those making the trip to San Juan as well as those who sign up for the virtual conference ticket. For more information about the conference, visit https://www.ashe.ws/conference.
There are several faculty and students who will be in attendance at this year's ASHE. This is the largest national academic conference for those studying higher education, including community colleges. Please talk to us if you'd like more information about academic conferences (including why anyone would want to go to such a thing) and/or about ASHE in general.
