How can we engage and motivate Old Dominion University's online students?

That's one of the questions to be addressed at the 2020 Faculty Summer Conference, "Transforming the Online Student Learning Experience."

Presented by the Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT), the 22nd annual event will take place May 19-20 at Chartway Arena in the Ted Constant Convocation Center. Each year, two days of thought-provoking discussions are built around workshops, presentations, posters and panels.

CLT welcomes your perspective. If you have an idea for a topic related to the conference theme, visit 2020 Faculty Summer Conference to submit your proposal.

New this year: Participants will be eligible to win a framed certificate for best presentation, best workshop, best panel or best poster, based on attendees' evaluations.

The keynote speaker will be L. Dee Fink, an acclaimed author, educator and consultant who will talk about "5 Ways to Spark Learning That Lasts." He will also lead the keynote workshop, "Designing Your Courses for More Significant Learning."
