To help student leaders reach their full leadership potential we are facilitating the Student Leadership Practice Inventory (SLPI) during this semester’s Leadership Lecture Series.
This series is appropriate for students in leadership roles and can get feedback from five people familiar with your leadership practice. The review of the five practices will be covered in three sessions held: Feb. 21, March 20 & April 3 at 12 noon via zoom.
Wednesday, Feb 28th, 2024 @ 12:00 p.m.
Students will further discover themselves as we explore personality types and differences using the Myers-Briggs Typology Indicator (MBTI). Participants will learn more about the four preference pair types (extraversion-introversion, sensing-intuition, thinking-feeling, and judging-perceiving) and how these preferences help define our personalities. Facilitators will engage students in individual and group reflective exercises to help them identify the preferences with which they most identify and learn from classmates who have different personality preferences. In addition, the session will explore how our individual personalities affect our leadership styles and team dynamics. As a bonus, session participants will have free access to the online MBTI assessment and receive a profile report that overviews their personality type.
